FEATURES

Product containing 3M® hollow glass microspheres to improve the thermal insulation of the substrate to which it is applied. By reducing the temperature difference between the environment and the wall, THERMOPROTEK prevents the growth of mould and algae and prevents condensation on the treated surface. It also performs an effective sound-absorbing action.

EMPLOYMENT

The product can be applied on any type of substrate, particularly suitable for environments with the presence of water vapour (kitchens, bathrooms, greenhouses, etc.).

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION 

Before applying the product, clean the area to be treated of any mould with 'TEKMED', encrustations, dust and old paint applications that are not firmly anchored. Carry out any repairs or grouting with suitable products. It is always advisable to apply a coat of M-PROTEK beforehand.

APPLICATION 

Apply with a roller or brush. To optimise the thermal insulation effect, apply an adequate thickness (2/3 coats). Do not apply on wet, frozen or insufficiently cured substrates. Do not apply at temperatures below 5° C.
